BARELY THERE PLUS

After having finished cancer treatments, I lost clumps of hair along my hairline and was so self conscious! I was returning to work and saw a segment on the Marilyn Dennis show about hair loss. One lady who also had thinning hair on the top of her head and down the back of her head like me was fitted with a topper and it was amazing. It’s like a toupe for women. I called for an appointment ,and purchased one. You pick the lightest colour in your hair because you can dye it darker but not lighter. I got my hairdresser to dye and put highlights in it and went back to have it cut and blended into my hair. No one can tell that it’s not my hair. I got a wig styrofoam head to keep it on and wash and blow dry it every two weeks. Easy peasey!
I had thin hair on my crown before chemo and now I feel so much better about myself I think I’ll always have one. Once my hair grows a bit more I’ll buy another one and not have it cut so short.
THIS CHANGED MY LIFE !

My name is Doreen, I've worn and wear a human hair piece since 2013. I also wear a human hair wig ( my condition got worse) part time since 2018. I never leave home without one of them on my head.
